Saluting Women Everywhere...

Hey folks, did you know that women have been crushing it throughout history? Yeah, they've been contributing in countless ways to their communities, families, and workplaces. But often, their hard work goes unnoticed and unappreciated. It's a total injustice!

Let's take a look at the Misquitia coast of Honduras. In a book about Honduras, it was reported that men were responsible for fishing, hunting, and protecting the tribe, while women were tasked with building houses, taking care of kids, cooking food, gathering food from the jungle, and even making liquor. And yet, their roles were considered secondary. What a bunch of hogwash!

Today, women still face similar challenges. They work longer hours than men, but their contributions often go unnoticed or undervalued. According to the United Nations, women do about 2.6 times more unpaid care and domestic work than men. That's a ton of cooking, cleaning, and taking care of kids and elderly folks.

But let me tell you, despite all this, women are still pushing forward. They're taking care of their families and communities while also contributing to the workforce. They're total heroes!
